Well Dressed Tables win Foodbuy Conference Award

Well Dressed Tables received the ‘Implementation’ award at the Foodbuy Conference and Awards 2018, held at London’s ExCel Exhibition Centre.

This was the first formal award Well Dressed Tables has received, although the company has contributed to award winning projects with their parent company, Arena Group.

Well Dressed Tables are known in the industry for their work with some of Britain’s most successful PLCs, blue chip companies and exclusive events. Hiring out 21 million items each year and delivering on 9000 contracts is no mean feat and the Foodbuy Conference Award for ‘Implementation’ recognises how effectively the business manages these contracts.

Of particular note was the new contract with Compass Group which began in January 2017. This contract has seen Well Dressed Tables deliver catering equipment and event furniture to all Major Levy Restaurant Events during 2017, including Cheltenham Gold Cup, Aintree Randox Grand National, Wimbledon Championships and the ATP World Tour to name a few. As well as delivering effectively on events such as these, Well Dressed Tables were also commended for their ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders, including chefs and catering managers, resulting in the team fully understanding the ever-changing needs of the customers.

This is reflected in testimony from Compass Group stakeholder Chris Smith, Racing Operations Manager South West of Jockey Club Catering, who said: “The service delivery from the Sales & Marketing Director (Kelly Baker) and her team is second to none, and the on the ground support from the operations teams (led by Rob Simpson) has been faultless these last 12 months since we first started working with them.”

Well Dressed Tables continues to work closely with Compass Group with the Gold Cup, Aintree, Epsom and this year’s Wimbledon Championships all on the horizon.
